Today, I got into trouble from my mum for not apologising to my grandpa after he was rude to me. He was angry because I haven't had kids yet. I can't have kids. I don't understand my family's logic. FML

Psycho family logic is actually simple. If they are mad at you, you must have caused it, so you're wrong and should apologize. If you're mad at them, they are the victim, and you are wrong and should apologize. See how simple life is when you're a sociopath?

Yes, because adoption is just that simple. You could be on a wait list for years, just to get turned down as a prospective parent.

My family has always been extremely critical of me. I find the best way to deal with them is the to be blunt and honest. I don't raise my voice I just say what I need and set clear boundaries. The one good thing about family is no matter how much you all hate each other at the end of the day you have to stay on good terms you never know who is your best kidney, liver, or bone marrow match until it comes up.
