Today, I gathered both mine and my girlfriend's families secretly to a restaurant. I paid the restaurant to play romantic music, and paid for the best table available. As soon as we finished our meal, our families gathered around and I proposed. She laughed and said no way. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend of nearly 2 years out to dinner so I could propose. When the waiter brought the check, I caused a bit of a scene to get everyone's attention. When I got on my knee and proposed, she said no and asked if I could hurry up and pay, because she was embarrassed. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend to a very nice restaurant. I thought it would be a good place to pop the question. I gave the ring to the waiter and asked him to put it on her dessert plate. When she saw it she picked it up, put it down and said "no". Then she started to eat the dessert. FML

Today, I planned to propose to my girlfriend in front of her family at dinner. I had the ring ready and got down on one knee. She immediately burst into laughter and said, "Are you kidding?" The family stared in silence, and I quickly realised she was just teasing me... until I stood up and knocked over an entire table of drinks. FML

Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 3 years. I got reservations for a romantic dinner, and at the end, fireworks would spell out my proposal. The whole thing had taken weeks to plan out and had cost me a lot of money. She proposed to me at a subway station first. FML

I don't car what age or whatever but she was bitch. Why did she have to laugh. That's just cruel, regardless if she didn't wasnt to marry then. She couldn't of politely said 'No, were too young" or" Sorry, but I want to wait awhile" Especially after all the work. Dump the ungrateful woman. She obviously doesn't deserve you.

Sucks, OP .. but it's obvious how much you love her if you took such a big step. She shouldn't have laughed, but I guess she must've been pretty nervous .. My advice to you is to take her and go somewhere private (just the two of you, don't bring any families o.o) and see what's going on. Best of luck!
