If it's that big you should go see a doctor. You could have a haematoma.
Better place that nut in a wheel barrel and roll it to the doctors office now....
I have pretty much no knowledge of guns, but even I know you don't shoot it one handed, especially a shotgun, on your first time shooting them. Why wasn't someone, there to show him how to properly handle it? Or, since you've handled guns before, why didn't you show him? You don't deserve what happened to you because that just sounds awful and painful, but I feel like this could have been easily prevented.
Who's to say OP didn't show him.... You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.. Maybe MR. Gunsmoke chose his own way..clearly not OP's fault
I never said it was OP's fault, in fact, I specifically said it wasn't. Guns being handled improperly can be dangerous, so if they did inform him, I was wondering how much, or if, they really drilled it into his mind the consequences that can occur if a gun is misused. Especially telling him that he cannot only hurt himself severely, but other people. He might have just ignored it and went his own way, but given that it was his first time, I questioned whether it was a lack of training, which is a completely relevant thing to question. Like I said, I'm totally ignorant when it comes to firearms, never even handled one and don't want to either, but even I know you don't shoot one with one hand, unless you're either ignorant to how they work, or just being stupid.
Pro tip: Dry fire practice always comes first.
OP u really need to see a doctor for this...testicular hematomas r srsly dangerous n have complications! Get well!
