Today I finally got some of my work on the front cover of a magazine. Inside the magazine credited my work to my ex boss... Who had bullied me out of my job at the end of last year... She's now getting all the praise even thought she didn't work for the company when I did the work FML
I agree, your life sucks 257

If it's your work and you have records of it, I'm pretty sure you can make it a legal issue over plagiarism, since by taking credit for your work she stole it. If you can't afford to- or don't want to- make it a big legal to-do, try to contact the magazine with the records and see if they'll issue a retraction and issue an apology. If you don't have records and the business doesn't...Well, you're ****** unfortunately. Try to keep records from now on, since you now know your work is publish worthy.

I would be very angry, so I completely understand op! Congratulations on being so talented as to get your work on the cover though:) You'll laugh about this later when you're famous and your slimy ex-boss is forgotten.
