Today, I finally found out that the tattoo on my lower back means "slut" in Chinese, instead of "good fortune" as I always thought it did. FML

I don't have a lower-back tattoo & I'm not planning on one. I find it annoying when anyone thinks their definition of beauty & trashy is gospel truth instead of just their opinion.

I had a neighbor who thought all women with pierced ears or dyed hair were harlots & men with long hair were druggies. It didn't make that true any more than calling a lower-back tattoo a "tramp stamp" makes a woman a ***** for having one. Stereotypes are, by their very nature, incorrect.

OP: YDI. Why get a tattoo from a person you don't know (the tattoo artist) in a language you don't know (Chinese) on a body-part you can't see (your lower back) without a mirror. Be glad it only says "****"... it could be worse. Much worse.
