Today, I came home from camp to find all of my stuffed animals, including the bear my girlfriend gave me before she passed away, gone. My aunt stole them for her kids and refuses to give them back. FML

Get as many family members involved as possible, your parents, grand parents, other aunts and uncles, cousins, ... Make her become the family's disgrace. If that doesn't work, try to explain to her kids and hope they understand. Or call the police and report the theft. That would be a dick move on her part even without the memory (who steals things from their nephew ?), but with the memories, **** her, go get your stuff back!

Steal them back and then steal her jewellery and give it to someone else and refuse to give it back. Teach her and her kids a lesson about taking things that don't belong to you.

I ended up driving to Georgia with my dad to get all of the toys back. When we got there she slammed the door in my face and called me a horrible person and told me I was selfish for trying to steal from children. I threatened to call the cops and take her to court so she let me take my stuffed animals. I told pretty much the entire family what she did and no one is speaking to her. Sad thing is if she would've told me she needed toys for her kids I would've taken them shopping next paycheck I got.

Maybe try talking to the kids and ask if they could at least "share" the bear? Or turn it into a lesson about stealing. :)

Wow! I would express to your parents that you want your items returned and it was a mistake to let her have them without your permission. Perhaps text her so you can have evidence on your phone of her admitting that they are yours. Once you have proof tell your parents that you feel that this is theft and unless the items are returned then you will be forced to call the police. I have had to deal with this crap and until I called the police it wouldn't stop. It was petty things like toys and books at first and then my aunt cleaned out the back seat of my car which was full of toys. The toys she took that time were donations for a charity and my son's christmas presents. I told her to return them and she got snippy about how they were free and for low income people which she was (she wanted them to have for her granchildrens play room when they came to her home. She was welcome to come to apply for assistance with the charity but they weren't my toys to give her. My son's christmas presents were worth about 150 dollars. I had reciepts and the vehicle was locked but my keys were in the kitchen on a key hook. I warned her and then I contacted the police with texts from her. She returned everything and then gave a check to the charity I worked for. I do not have a relationship with her but I don't need one.

Kick her ass and take them from her kids gently. Don't let the kids see you make their mom look like a bitch
