Today, I asked my mother to take a picture of me with my phone. She managed to drop the phone thrice within 5 minutes. Now the phone is busted and she refuses to pay for the repairs. FML

I'm proud of you for using thrice (: hmm I'm going to assume for argument that you paid for it and in that case you deserve a replacement from her. Sorry that when it comes to family it gets complicated. Best of luck

You asked your mom to hold your phone. She dropped it once, and you let her try again. She dropped it twice, and you let her try again. Then she dropped it a third time and now you are upset and want her to pay for it. You asked her to hold it, she didn't borrow it from you. You saw that she wasn't doing well with it, but you continued to let her handle it. This is on you.
