Today, despite having reasonable grades and a genius-level IQ, I was rejected from medical school. My classmate who received straight C's and an SAT score 300 points lower than mine was accepted to the same school. He is black, I am Asian, and that apparently matters. FML

Could also be down to personality and drive. The fact you mention your “genius IQ” and brought race into says more negatives than you think....
