Today, at over 9 months pregnant, I woke up to a wet bed. Convinced my water broke, I woke up my husband and had him drive me to the hospital at 3am. The nurse told me my water was fine, I had just peed the bed. FML

Today, at 2 in the morning, my water broke. I called my mom and woke her up to come watch our older kid, while my husband and I went to the hospital. After being tested at the hospital, I was told I had just peed myself. FML

Today, my very pregnant wife woke up in bed, grabbing her stomach and writhing in pain. Worried that the baby might be in distress, I asked her what was wrong. She gasped then let out what can only be described as a river of hot liquid shit all over herself and my legs. We both cried. FML

Today, I had a dream I was going the bathroom. I then woke up peeing, but I didn’t wet the bed yet. As I ran to the bathroom while half asleep and in the dark, I rammed into the wall. On my way back to bed, I tripped and accidentally slapped my fiancé in an effort to stop myself from falling over. FML

Today, I gave birth, but my husband was late and got here just in time to cut the cord. He was hung over after celebrating his impending fatherhood all night. He missed the cord twice, cut it, then fell over, and wound up in the bed next to mine, with a hydrating IV and a bashed head where he hit it on the baby's cot. FML

Get yourself checked by someone else!! Some asshole doctor told my wife that when she was 4 months pregnant. She was sure it was her water ( 4th pregnancy but what could she possibly know?) At 8 months they could not locate the baby's head and ordered an ultrasound which showed she had NO water. Our son was born premature weighting 3 lbs 8 oz. The doctor blamed it on her smoking, I told him he was a f**king id10t!

This happened to my mother. I know it's embarrassing, but it's ok. It happens and it means you're an attentive Mommy. Just wash the sheets, pee is usually sterile. False alarm. Best of luck in your delivery, sweets!

You have a full-blown baby pressing on your bladder, it's gonna happen. Good call getting checked out though, because if that HAD been your water breaking it would've been important. Hang in there--the baby will pop out soon.
