Today, my parents staged a family intervention and gave me the grandest bollocking I've ever experienced in all my 22 years of life. They did this because my sister showed them a photo of me jokingly posing with three bottles of Bud Light at a party. Apparently, I'm an alcoholic in denial. FML

Your parents are overreacting, especially after you said you hated it. This is like the FML where the one OP's parents tried putting him/her into anger management classes because (s)he said the word CRAP. Some parents just overreact and make a big deal over nothing

Beer taste like piss but whiskey is tasty! My mom thinks just because I have a glass of wine I'm going to be an alcoholic like my dads family. She was all bible bashing but I told her my views on that and how I believe we are here to make our own path. She stopped.
