Ive had something similar. cross country starts getting good and my leg muscles start cramping, i get shin splints, roll an ankle, and my knees become inflamated over night :(

I broke my arm playing football right before CIF championships. I was in so much pain diving off the blocks it ****** my rutine and I lost. I gave it my all and I still feel like a failure.
