Today, after hours of perfecting a job application for my dream company, in which I'd explained how strong my attention to detail is and used examples, I only noticed after submitting it that I'd addressed the application to 'Joanne' rather than 'Joanna'. FML

I tried to hold it in, but it came out with such force that I lost my balance, fell off the stage, and landed in the lap of the mayor, who was in the front row. Today, I was pumping gas and decided to go in for a drink. I discovered that when it's cold, sometimes the gas doesn't stop pumping automatically and starts spewing out onto the sidewalk. I had to pay for $53 of spilled gas. FML
