Today, after being sober for several months, I woke up from a 2 day drinking binge. I don't remember much, but I know I hid my phone, group texted insane things to my in-laws, confessed my alcoholism to my husbands best friend, scared the crap out of my kids, and hid in my yard in my underwear. FML

Today, I learned my application for resuming my citizenship in my home country (Australia) after being abroad for almost 12 years is being denied based on bureaucratic bullshit, and I'm going to be sent away to a country (USA), where I have no family or support, to be homeless and without the above. Today, after being slammed with an unexpected ER visit, a $1000 vet bill, and my roommate moving out with 36 hours notice, all in the same month, I just barely had enough money to cover rent. Today, I had to give a presentation on how we can improve our department metrics to a group of dumb executives who keep confusing and mixing up IT departments. Our department is doing great, the problem is that the executives keep mixing up the departments and blame us for everything. FML
