Role models? They are arguing about money, not doing illegal stuff. Fighting isn't a big deal in this circumstance. My parents faught a lot in my first 4 years of being alive, and even after they divorced my mom got in fights with her ex boyfriends. It did not effect me and how I grew up. The kid is a brat. Maybe her being like that has nothing to do with her parents.

Even if the kid did something bad, I don't think that by taking away their presents, they'll change their behavior. Yes, I do think a punishment is in order. However, it has to be the correct of punishment. If my kids did that, I wouldn't take away their presents. Mine threatened my brother and I felt bad, but I also felt it was a little to harsh to do to a kid.

Are you ******* kidding me? They NEED SOME KIND OF PUNISHMENT. DO YOU REALLY WANT YOUR KIDS TO TURN OUT TO BE SPOILED ROTTEN BRATS? When I was little, I would of killed just to get my parents to notice me and teach me right from wrong. Yet, they didn't. And I'm amazed that I disciplined myself just for the sole perpose that they might somehow notice me and praise me for being a good child.
