Today, God blessed me with two children: one a shiftless arsehole who is definitely going to jail one day, and a neurotic overachiever destined for either a medical degree or a loony bin, and most days I can’t decide which is the biggest pain to deal with. FML

The smart one I think the difference would be how you raise them and whether you actually challenge them, but not punish them for being smart. For the criminal one you could try to intervention early, but just be prepared to get a call It sounds like both of them meet the clinical definition of psychotic The difference is whether they have empathy at all or whether you can get them to actually listen to that empathy
