Today, I was making soup for my husband and myself since we are both sick. I already had to go to work overnight so will be working in an hour. somehow while moving the pot of boiling soup off the burner it tipped toward me pouring it down the front of me. Stuck at work in blistering pain. FML

If your boss made you go to work when you're sick, and after spilling boiling hot soup on yourself, he/she is a prick. Tell them to shove their job, and get to a hospital.

Today, when I picked up my repeat subscription of anti-anxiety medication, they had changed the packaging to be more 'child safe'. Now it's so hard to get the pills out that I had an anxiety attack trying to take one. FML

Today, while my boyfriend and I were talking with his sister-in-law about a TV show, his 6-year-old nephew walked up just in time to hear how Santa killed the protagonist's parents. I've never seen such a heartbroken face in my life, and now he won't stop asking if Santa kills people. FML
