Content almost refused by staff

I live in a downstairs apartment. I walked into the kitchen today to find my toddler stomping her feet in a half-inch of water, which was pouring down from the light fixture in the ceiling. Apparently my upstairs neighbor's dishwasher broke. FML.

This is why everyone should have renter's insurance. $20 a month can save a lot of time and money later. I know if we didn't have it, we would pay out over $10,000 just to replace our electronics.

Don't you just hate apartments? But #1 is right. Renter's insurance is a godsend.

Hopefully you have insurance. Make sure your neighbors and landlord know you're not trying to put in a pool.
