You said yourself you had 2 cavities *when you were younger*. Are you sure they were not in baby teeth that then fell out? The only filling I've ever received was in a baby tooth, and guess what? It's not there anymore! Don't automatically assume dentists are the scum of the earth.
I've had a crappy dentist before too, went to them as a kid, said my teeth were fine, then when I moved the next one said I had dental problems - that were true, proven by x-rays - and if I didn't get them fixed, I'd have permanantly messed up teeth. Now I stay away from anyone not highly recommended by friends, or if they don't have all kinds of authentic awards proving their skill.
that's malpractice! He could get in serious trouble for that, such as having his license revoked. I would report him. He could potentially hurt someone, not to mention scamming many people, and the healthcare system.
Now I wanna be a dentist when I grow up.
