Today, I went to a bar with my best friend, and some guys came up to us and started flirting with her and offering her a drink. I felt a bit left out and started joking that "I'm thirsty too". One guy looked at me, cringed and said, "No, I don't buy drinks for weird girls." FML

I guess you could say the thirst was real.

And what do we call women who think they can sponge off of men who have no interest in them what so ever? Pigs would be if they expected to have sex because they bought a drink. Men who have preferences and standards are far from pigs.

If you wanted a drink that badly; How about,oh, I don't know...buying your own damn drink?

You are better off an asshole.

I hate when people say "you're weird" as an insult. It makes me want to say, "oh, and you're normal?"

Well, although it was a bit tactically short-sighted of those guys to diss the apparent friend (and not even use the wingman method) of the girl they were actually trying to hit on, your comment was also a bit presumptuous haha Oh, and for that matter so is your equation of weirdness and the gothic subculture... Good luck next time around :P

Honestly, if your friend was cool with being fawned over by people who can't even be respectful of those around them, especially her "best friend", then you need to reevaluate your friendship.

You should've replied so why are you drinking one....
