Today, despite telling my friend numerous times I can't afford a spring break trip, she has already started booking a $3000 cruise and telling many people I'll go. I don't even have a job right now, what 19 year old has that much money to waste? FML

Looks like you may end up losing that friend. However, if she refuses to acknowledge that you can't go on the cruise with her, then you're probably better off not having her as a friend. The flip side is that she may be paying for all of it as a gift for you.
