Today, I was planning to take it easy with workout, coffee, good food and a couple movies. When suddenly my girlfriend calls me and says her family of father, aunt and grandma is coming for a stay-over visit. Straight without any notice in advance. Now I'm stuck getting the place presentable. FML.

Not cool, even if your girlfriends family are great people to be around, to be blindsided with 3 overnight houseguests, NOT COOL. I am just curious if she knew beforehand, if she did, that's even worse, if not, it seems like something you would discuss with your housemate/partner/boyfriend, rather than just allowing it to happen.

I am just curious if she knew beforehand, if she did, that's even worse, if not, it seems like something you would discuss with your housemate/partner/boyfriend, rather than just allowing it to happen.

Today, we're both sick, the heating hasn’t been working for 3 days, yet the repair company refuses to fix it because some technicality is not up to current regulations. Right on time, we’re also about to be hit by a cold spell, promising sub-zero temperatures. FML

Today, I finally had sex with a girl I've been dating for over a month. Before we got started she told me not to worry about the birth control, because she could handle that. So after we finished I asked her what kind of birth control she used. She said she meditated. FML

Today, I was yet again denied food stamps. They think I make $1000 a week with only 25 hours a week. Each time I have to apply, they say, "We get that number from your pay stubs." They don't understand that those are four separate weeks. I'm sure it's illogical for a part time bagger to make $40 an hour before taxes. FML
