And let's not forget, divorce wouldn't even be possible if married folks didn't breath. Is really THAT much of a stretch to say that holding your breath would lead to a longer marriage?

You would need the help of your spouse though, as if you tried holding your breath on your own you would just pass out and start breathing again, and thus perpetuate more divorce.
