Today, I finally told my mother that I have severe depression. Her response was "Well, it's probably because you have such a messy room." FML

That's a symptom, not a cause. If you are a minor, keep bringing it up until she takes you to an actual psychiatrist. Going to your GP and mentioning it to them should get you A referral if you need one.
