Today, I excitedly told my dad, who had been asking when I would find a boyfriend, that one of my friends wanted to set me up with a guy who looks just like Adam Levine. His response? "If he looks like Adam Levine he won't be into you". FML

It's a pretty insensitive D-Bag move for a dad to tell their own kid they're not good enough or attractive enough for someone. Did it ever occur to him that maybe the reason you don't date much is that he keeps breaking down the confidence you need to get out and meet people? Don't listen to him. Go enjoy your set up date.
