Today, I accidentally hit my neighbors car while backing out, because of their horrible park job. The cop said he would write me a ticket unless I call the front desk to further explain my insurance policy. This included me getting cussed out and getting a ticket anyway. FML

It's very difficult for it to be the fault of a stationary object when you reverse into something. Especially something as large and visible as a car. Sure, it may have been badly parked, but the usual approach is to ask your neighbour to move their vehicle rather than shunting it out of the way! I confess some sympathy for the cussing-out.

Today, my two cats, who I'm slowly easing into being together, seem to like the fight they had yesterday. My older cat goes to my new cat's room to mew until I open the door, then lunges at my new cat, and my new cat goes to the barrier until he sees my old cat, and they start their shenanigans again. Today, I searched for free parking near my work for 30 minutes, trying to avoid paying $12 at a pay lot. I scored a spot, but 1 mile away from the office. I trekked through rain, cold, and got to work late. It was a long hard day, crawled back to my car, and had a $30 ticket on my windshield. FML
