Today, after weeks of gathering the courage, I asked my boyfriend whether he takes a shower right after we finished having sex, because I smell bad? His answer: "Don't take this the wrong way, but I prefer your scent on you, and I really don't like it on me." FML

Sex has a very notable smell. Chances are, he's just not a fan of the sweat/musk/semen/sex fluid smell that otherwise lingers.

I wouldn't take it too personally either. Sex can leave a scent and sometimes a nice shower after a relaxing sex session makes it even better!

Lots of people shower right after sex. It's sweaty and hot and gooey. I think showering after feels so good
