Today, I got to live my life's dream of going whale watching. Apparently my true life's dream was to get extremely seasick, sunburned to a crisp, and pay $60 to see only seagulls in the end. FML

My parents took me whale watching a few years ago, cost $500 for the five of us. I spent the whole time inside puking into a paper bag, first time I had ever been seasick. To add insult to injury, a whale did some sort of surface-flip thing which is really rare and amazing... I didn't see it of course!

Kinda stupid of the OP if you ask me. Most people don't see whales on whale watching tours, it's not like they're trained.

My Boyfriend loves to fish on his boat and I would love to go and sunbake except I get sea sick too :(

Well, fyl that you didn't see any whales and you got sick (assuming you didn't know you'd get sea sick), but ydi for not paying attention to sun block. Then for future reference, get motion sickness meds anytime there's the slightest chance you could need it.
