Maybe it was fake or maybe it was a gift? What right do you have to negatively judge someone's circumstances who is just going about their day?

Maybe they were flying economy because they'd just dropped a wad on an LV duffel bag. Different people have different priorities, y'know.

So were you shaming a customer for not spending enough money on a perishable item? Or was it spending too much for a genuine durable good, or buying a cheap fake? Either way, why was it any of your business? All you had to do was be a good cart donkey, and you couldn't manage it.

Splurging on a luxury item doesn't mean a person is made of money. It could also have been a gift or been something they inherited. That or even if they could afford first class it could be they have frugal tendencies preferring to save up for the occasional splurge.
