Today, it was my uncle's funeral. I wasn't very close with him, but I still wanted to be respectful. My boyfriend, being the jackass that he is, was singing the Spider Pig song from The Simpsons under his breath while making his fingers walk up my leg, trying to get under my skirt. FML

If you think he is a jackass in general, why are you dating him? On another note, if he can't find it in himself to be serious at a funeral, how the hell do you ever expect him to be there for you when you really need it? That guy doesn't sound like a keeper to me.

I dated a jackass like that once and finally wised up and dumped him. The problem with this sort of disrespectful idiot is that he thinks he's funny and YOU are the one with the problem because you're not cracking up at his brand of comedy. The more you try to get him to stop acting like a jackass, the bigger a jackass he becomes in an effort to get you to finally 'see the light' and laugh along with him. An adult would realize that a funeral is no place to try to 'lighten the mood' by being a big asshole but people like this guy think their behavior is fine and everyone else is a bunch of dullards for acting like grown-ups.
