I hate to say this, since I had the same problem in elementary/primary school with none of my classmates able to attend my July birthday party since they were all gone away for summer vacation, but YDI and you're an idiot. Where in the Bible (or the holy book of whatever religion you believe in) or when did your UK Parliament make a law that said that you had to have you birthday party on your actual birth date? Seriously!!! If a fourth grader can figure out that she should have her birthday early, or late, so people will be able to show up then so can you! Besides, my brother's birthday is in late December, too, and he HATES it, because so many people give him a single present as a combined Christmas/Birthday present instead of two individual presents for the two separate events (and its usually not one awesome combined gift.) So celebrate your birthday late or early. In other words, do something different OR stop whining that things never change.

Maybe have your birthday party double as a New Year party?

My birthdays on New Year's Eve too. Just go out with some close friends somewhere to celebrate.

It's okay op, my birthday is the 31st as well. I know its hard to do stuff for your birthday that time of year.
