Supportive

Today, I had a mental breakdown. Many things have been going completely wrong in my life, and I finally decided to let my boyfriend know about it. After about an hour of explaining and pouring my heart out, his response was, "I think we were better off as friends." FML
I agree, your life sucks 36 360

wow, FYL. but to all the guys who say she deserves it and guys do't care...you are ****** lousy boyfriends. Its equal to something like your mother dying and you being really upset and your girlfriend saying "get over it, pussy". Grow up.

A mental Breakdown? Lulz... Time for someone to look up a few terms I think. You mean a nervous breakdown? Or you just got upset? Because if you had a mental breakdown, you'd be carted off to a mental hospital for failure to function adequately. Shame your boyfriend's a douche, you'll probably be better off without him.

Really, can you blame him? You are a drama queen and acted childish pretending to have a breakdown. Why should he have to stick around for that? It's obviously not what he wants in a relationship, and you just disqualified yourself as a wife-candidate. Did you want him to keep dating you just for the sex. or something?

1) Who says she is pretending to have a breakdown? It could very well be real. 2) In a relationship, you need to be there for the other even in crappy times, to listen. If that isn't what he wants, he shouldn't be in a relationship. 3) Who ever said she wanted to be his wife? You have no idea.

What a jerk, I think your better off not knowing each other if he's going to be like that.

All I can say is 1) you guys don't know what the breakdown could have been about. This girl might be dealing with stuff that you would not be able to survive, just because she doesn't justify it to a bunch of STRANGERS, doesn't mean anything. The point of this website is just to tell you the basics of a bad thing that happened to someone. And she could have just been looking for support from someone, and with a bf, most ppl would expect that from them. It hurts because its like, someone who you thought you could rely on, isn't there for you. And when you're emotionally distraught, of course that sucks.

People who are siding with him are totally inconsiderate and heartless. That's the most awful thing a guy can do, and he can go **** himself for not being a real man :)

I know exactly how you feel girl. The same thing happened to me, I'm sorry that happened to you.

I think it would you would have been better off not to post this. Considering some very rude people are sitting at their keyboards bashing you. And after getting dumped and having a breakdown, its probably not healthy to read some of these harsh messages. I hope everything evens out for ya, thats gotta suck.

You need to understand that some people AREN'T strong enough to deal with another mess, because they are either not strong enough to help, or scared you'll hurt them first.
