Today, I had a mental breakdown. Many things have been going completely wrong in my life, and I finally decided to let my boyfriend know about it. After about an hour of explaining and pouring my heart out, his response was, "I think we were better off as friends." FML

wow, FYL. but to all the guys who say she deserves it and guys do't care...you are ****** lousy boyfriends. Its equal to something like your mother dying and you being really upset and your girlfriend saying "get over it, pussy". Grow up.

A mental Breakdown? Lulz... Time for someone to look up a few terms I think. You mean a nervous breakdown? Or you just got upset? Because if you had a mental breakdown, you'd be carted off to a mental hospital for failure to function adequately. Shame your boyfriend's a douche, you'll probably be better off without him.

If you have that much to complain about, shouldn't you be talking to a therapist? Sure, I know your boyfriend is supposed to be there for you during hard times, but most people (with the exception of someone like your mother) wouldn't want to sit around and listen to you bitch for an hour straight. While your b/f does sound a bit like a douchebag, what else did you expect? You just dumped a whole garbage truck of crap on him and it probably freaked him out. Plus, most guys don't want a girl who's going to complain about everything, so maybe he thought this little episode was just the beginning. Point is - that sucks, but try talking to therapist.

I highly doubt this is fake. So many people are like "blah blah fake, so many like this," but do you realize how many dumbasses there are in this world? OP, I feel your pain. After a close friend of mine died, I spilled my heart about how much I missed her to my (now ex) boyfriend and he finished the conversation with "In all honesty, I think we'd make better friends." People are assholes! I'm not constricting this to men--women can be dumbasses, too!--but I doubt this is fake. OP, you're better off without him.
