Today, my boss got mad at me for not wearing the gloves I'm provided at work. They're way too small, not to mention the fact that I have a disability which makes it even harder to put them on. What do you expect me to do? FML

Today, my company told me that they refuse to buy me new safety footwear without a doctor's note, because my shoe size is three sizes smaller than the minimum size my company provides. I actually have to get my doctor to prove my shoe size. FML

Today, we can finally order badly needed safety gear for my crew. My boss flipped his shit, demanding that I "stop bringing it up, it's annoying" for doing my damndest to keep up with industry standards. I was brought to tears for literally doing my job, with no "peers" to back me, since I'm an HR department of one. FML

If you must wear gloves at work, it means that working without gloves, or with ill-fitting gloves, is either unsanitary, dangerous, or both. You cannot work until you have gloves that fit, and your boss must be reminded of that fact. Repeatedly.

If you explained it to your boss and requested properly sized gloves and he does not accommodate, then you are fully within your rights to go to Human Resources and show how/where you tried to follow process with your boss. NOT to get him in trouble, but to get them to provide you the proper PSE to comply with Department of Labor Rules.
