She says if I don’t go, I’m being selfish, and she wants to see her “baby girls” bonding one last time before she dies. I would gladly go if my sister wasn’t marrying my ex-husband, who cheated on me with her. FML

Today, it’s my mom’s 65th birthday celebration. I have to share a room at the resort, table and car ride with my sister, who my ex-husband left me for and got pregnant. She tries to talk to me as if nothing ever happened, and my parents bitch me out for being upset at her. FML

Yeah, that's just plain F'd up especially the part about doing it on your birthday that had to be intentional. I say it all the time blood don't mean jack if they don't treat you with respect you don't need them in your life.

Oh my God what a horrible bunch of people. Your best bet is to move as fast away from then as possible, for your happiness and sanity. Just because family is blood, doesn't mean they can do whatever awful things they want to you.
