My parents don't get tax refunds. Never really understood the whole idea behind big tax refunds. You're overpaying on taxes and letting the government borrow money for free...

Don't think the "only reason" holds water. Sure parents joke this, but kids cost thousands each year and you go whatever you can for them. Bottom lip be us the tax deduction will pay for the kid's expenses for less than a week!
