Today, my live-in girlfriend broke up with me in a rage. I was ecstatic since I've wanted to break up for a while, but couldn't as she has no job or place to go. She then "took it back" and plans to stay another year. FML

When people tell you who there are believe them. You can say no. You are allowed to make her be an adult and figure out how to live with consequences of her actions.

There's plenty of peeps without job or place to stay that you won't shelter, right? And she broke up with you. There's no taking back without your consent. Don't let her walk over you.

And that’s why she took it back - because she remembered she has no job and no place to go. If it’s your place, you need to break up with her and maybe give her a specified amount of time to move out. If not, make your own plans to move out. You can’t just wait another year for her to maybe break up with you.
