Today, I started chemo. My immune system is so bad, it keeps attacking organs throughout my body. I just got a job I love that pays well and has insurance for once, but I’m not sure I can keep working to pay for it, due to chemo side-effects and risky conditions of the job. FML

Today, after enduring chemo, radiation treatments and several surgeries in order to beat cancer, being immunocompromised and catching Covid, I haven’t been able to work for years. Despite all that, I still get told I’m lazy and need to "just go get a job" when I try to get social security. FML

We dated for 2 weeks, 11 years ago. I'm now married and haven't spoken to him since we broke up, so I guess he's been stalking me. FML

I just don't understand how anyone could vote "You Deserved It" on this one! Please tell me everyone that voted that accidentally pushed it. How could he deserve that?!?! I'm so sorry that happened to you, OP. I agree with everyone saying to get get back at him. That has to be a verbal contract, right? I hope karma gets him, sounds like he's the worst kind of person. As a chemo patient and a former Radiation therapist I know how you feel and how hard it is to have the goal you used to fight through snatched away from under you ... However in my dream job I had a boss just like that and your far better off not working anywhere around someone like that. Keep in mind your a winner and survivor. You beat cancer he will never beat being a jerk. Congrats on being healthy again and not giving up. Your going to make a great employee with lots of tenacity and determination.
