Today, my family was discussing the new rules of the house we are moving into. They told my sister she couldn't have any boys in her room. They didn't tell me I couldn't have any girls in my room. Even my parents think I can't get a girlfriend. FML

Today, I was visiting my in-laws and sharing a room with my husband's 17-year-old sister. Later that night she and her brother of 24 years started fist-fighting over an air mattress and I had to pull them off each other. The brother later berated me with, "You can't handle any pressure!" FML

Today, my sister is upset that I won’t upturn my entire life by letting her kids stay at my house 4-5 days a week. She decided to move in with her boyfriend after one month, before even introducing him to her kids. Now he’s decided he doesn’t like the kids, so she wants me to keep them. FML

dont be such a whiner. Its obvious your sister gets around more than you do, so be nice to her and ask her to hook you up... (with someone your age) then you can exchange keeping shut up when she brings someone up... you scratch her back she scratches yours. Its what I would do... then there is also blackmail :)

You should be happy about this! Clearly, they trust you more than they do your sister. They feel the need to set this rule because, otherwise, they feel she will get herself into trouble. You, however, are responsible enough in their eyes to make the right decisions without being baby'ed with room regulations. So, congrats! Your parents actually trust you, unlike most others.

you realize that that's because generally guys are the ones taking advantage of girls? nobody slam me i'm just stating a fact. parents aren't worried that you're going to get raped by a girl, or get pregnant, or whatever.
