Today, my boss made me give a presentation to several senior company officials about the serious financial losses our division has made this year. Barely an hour later, my boss had palmed all the blame off onto me and gotten me fired. FML

Yeah that business won't be around long. Any good leader knows it isn't the underling, it is the guy in charge that's to blame for poor performance. Thank your lucky stars you got canned. That company will go bad soon enough with idiots like that in charge.

Almost all the work related FMLs are issues covered by the employment laws of most countries. If you're too idle to pursue justice on the issue either through legal or internal methods it's your own fault.

Assholes like this all over the place, sad part is the people he convinced should know your boss approves your work.....so he is still responsible. Accountability is dead these days
