Today, I finished a 6-part project. It took me 7 hours of straight work because my partner decided I should do it alone. I then learned that the reason my partner did not help me was because the teacher e-mailed the leader of every group, saying the project was cancelled. FML

Today, my boss yelled at me for having Facebook open at work. That's fine, I closed it and continued on with my work. In a meeting later on I could see the reflection of my boss's laptop screen in a mirror behind her desk. For two hours, I watched her scroll through her Facebook feed. FML

I hate working with partners for this very reason. Just make sure your instructor is aware that you completed the project alone.

I think he/she meant OP have her partner over to work on her part there, rather than do it all herself. No internet only stopped her from working at home, she could have at least worked on it at OP's, even if together.

Oh my gawd, it's a miracle! Her internet magically started working again just as you finished the project. You should be humbled at the amazing power of God you have just witnessed. OP, you should be so happy for her. I bet your project partner is overcome with joy and relief.
