Today, I wanted to take a bubble bath with the jets in the bath that I haven't used in years. When I got in, it took me a while to realize that the jets had squirted out slime and a family of unidentifiable bugs that have probably been living there for years. FML

did you find out what they where. there is a chance they burrowed into your skin and will hatch any day now. but really that is messed up sounds like the beginning of a horror movie

My mom has a bath with jets and no matter how many times she cleans it, brown recluses come out of the jets every time.

yup. take a half pound of chlorine shock, warm water... run the jet for 30 minutes (repeat if its truly disgusting... we had to do that when we moved in to our house after it sat for 5 years... took 3 runs through with chlorine, but its brilliantly clean now.) Bleach works too
