Many times stores have rules that require carding everyone for certain items - It probably wasn’t your acne. I got carded myself buying a lighter at Kroger and I’m older than you.

Not sure what the law in your area is, but here in Arizona, you get carded for stuff if you look under 40. Even cigarettes and lighters.

As someone who used to be a a part of the retail world, most places are 50 and under. You’ll want to be carded one day, stop complaining.
