Even I'm not that desperate. We ended up having an awkward dinner and I couldn't wait for it to be over. FML

OP: ignore the asshole comments. i've been in your position. i've also been in the guy in your post's position. just remember no matter how good-looking/ugly you are, there's always someone better looking/uglier than you. no matter what people say, for 99% of the population at least some level of physical attraction matters. don't take it too hard. it just didn't work out for you this time.
