I know you love him but just get out. Been there. They can't hear a word you say to them, you end up having to manage them like a pissy ******* toddler and the resentment will just poison everything about them to you. Breaking up now means you can do it gently and with love instead of with the frying pan and hatred later 🫂

Sounds like he needs therapy. If he won’t do it or won’t do something to help, time to cut him loose.
