Today, I was watching a movie with my boyfriend and his parents. It got to an intense sex scene. I felt grateful when I saw his father reaching for the remote to fastforward past the scene. He put it into slowmotion. We watched in silence for about 3 minutes before he managed to fix it. FML

Today, I was watching a movie that had a mild sex scene in it. My mother walked in just as that scene was starting and she flipped out. I'm now grounded. She's taken my TV and laptop out of my room and refuses to let me see my boyfriend because she's sure he's the cause of my "disgusting behaviour". FML

Today, mine and my boyfriend's concerns that we are too loud in bed were definitely confirmed when his entire family stopped the movie they were watching and vacated the cinema room located directly below us. They returned and resumed a while after we were finished. FML

If you're watching a movie with sex in it by yourself it's fine but when you're around a bunch of people it's incredibly awkward... Try watching the sex and the city movie with you parents and see how awkward it is

Yeah I don't get the fast forwarding a sex scene. If you guys and the parents think you all are mature enough to watch a movie with a sex scene in it, shouldn't you be mature enough the entire movie?!

Man, that sucks. I can relate, although I did something similar to the boyfriend's father when I was on my own once. Lesson learned: make sure you know how to use the remote on your DVD player/PS2 (which could've been what it was on) before you watch a movie on said DVD player/PS2.
