Today, my fiancé's parents visited. I keep chickens for their eggs, and his parents own a farm, so we had a connection. They told us to leave the house while they cooked us dinner. When we returned, we faced two steaming plates of chicken. My chickens. They had names. FML

why didn't you tell them you were vegetarian? and why would they kill your chickens without your permission? i'm not vegetraian and i live on a farm so ultimately i don't really care ... chickens are delicious

How are you getting married to a person whose parents don't know you're vegetarian and haven't heard about your pet chickens? It's your fault you didn't warn farm people not to cook your edible pets. And if you don't communicate more (with your future spouse and spouse's family) your marriage will fail, too. Fix it and stop complaining.

This s really sad. I had a pet chicken too that I got from freshman year biology class. He lived for 3 1/2 years and died recently. =( im so sorry to hear about this... I would flip shit

Oh my god, I feel so sorry for you :'( I have a friend who has chickens, and were both vegetarians, so I know how heartbreaking this could be. I agree with #18
