Today, I found out my boyfriend went to a “Lovers New Year's Eve” party. I didn’t go. He told me he had to “work” that night and couldn’t spend time with me. When I confronted him about it, he told me he “forgot” to tell me and it was “a last minute thing.” We’ve been dating for 3 years. FML

Yeah nothing adds up here, I’d confront him for the real story and then start preparing for the breakup, asap. I bet my money he didn’t just casually “forget,” it wasn’t “last minute,” and even if he did and it was, why would he lie about where he was going and lie saying he had to work? He’s either cheating or being shady with his whereabouts but either way exhibiting some toxic behavior towards you & the relationship. Time to go
