sounds like she'd be an awful grandma anyway. if you can twist it a bit to say something along the lines of "You're not worthy of being a grandparent so, see ya!" not only would it be true, but it'd also give you a bit more leverage if you do need her legally for whatever reason. Or, since she's cutting that tie regardless, you'd get a good push back in her direction while also sticking up for the baby! Hopefully that helps and stay safe!
