Today, my best friend since 8th grade died. This follows the deaths of my father in 2023, my divorce, and my mother dying last year. I already had an emotional Mother's Day, and now this. FML

Sometimes shitty times come close together and that just makes it worse. Hopefully you are done with trouble for a while…. In my case my Dad died ~6 years ago and then a few months later I was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus. I survived the operation and the chemo. It was a tough time but now things are more normal for me. You can get through the bad times, I hope you have family and friends to help you cope. Don’t be afraid to get mental health care, it can help.
