Oh my God, my brother is the OP! :') For those of you wondering, as my brother thought he would get a ride home with our mother afterwards he missed the only bus home. Our mother had taken an afternoon nap and only woke up when my brother came home. I can't believe this actually got posted, hahaha!

I don't know how it is in France but where I'm from it's illegal for a teacher to give a student a ride home.
